Welcome to Bookyno (“we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Bookyno mobile application (the “App”). By downloading, accessing, or using Bookyno, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the App immediately.

1. About Bookyno

Bookyno is a reading-tracking application that helps users record books, log reading sessions, organize reading goals, and visualize progress. Some features are available for free, while others require an optional premium subscription.

These Terms apply to all users of the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old or the minimum age required in your country to use the App. By using Bookyno, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Account Registration

Some features require creating an account or signing in using Google or another supported provider.

By creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information.

  • Keep your login credentials private.

  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

We are not responsible for any losses caused by unauthorized account access resulting from your failure to safeguard your credentials.

4. Premium Subscriptions

Bookyno offers optional PRO features through in-app purchases and auto-renewing subscriptions.

4.1 Payment

All payments, renewals, refunds, and cancellations are handled directly by:

  • Apple App Store, or

  • Google Play Store

We do not process or store your payment details.

4.2 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription directly in your device’s store settings.

4.3 Refunds

Refunds must be requested through Apple or Google, according to their policies.

5. User Content

The App allows you to add personal data such as books, notes, reading sessions, goals, and other related information.

You retain ownership of the content you create.
By using the App, you grant us permission to store, process, and display this information solely to operate and improve the App.

You agree that:

  • You are responsible for the content you add.

  • You will not upload harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content.

  • You will not abuse or exploit the App.

6. Data Collection and Privacy

We collect and process information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By using Bookyno, you agree to the collection and handling of your data as described there.

7. Acceptable Use Rules

You agree not to use Bookyno in any way that:

  • Violates any law or regulation

  • Attempts to reverse engineer or modify the App

  • Interferes with servers, databases, or security

  • Creates multiple accounts for abuse

  • Uses automated systems (bots, scrapers, scripts)

  • Uploads malicious files or harmful content

Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.

8. Intellectual Property

All content provided by Bookyno, including branding, logos, design, graphics, and text, is owned by us or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

You retain rights to the content you create inside the App, as stated above.

9. Service Availability

We aim to keep the App available and running, but we do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted access

  • Error-free operation

  • That data will never be lost

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time without notice.

10. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate third-party services such as login providers, analytics, backup systems, or subscription platforms (e.g., RevenueCat).

These third parties have their own terms and privacy policies, which you should review separately. We are not responsible for their actions or failures.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including:

  • Accuracy

  • Reliability

  • Fitness for a particular purpose

  • Availability

You use the App at your own risk.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any:

  • Data loss

  • Loss of revenue

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Issues caused by third-party services

  • Damages resulting from your failure to comply with these Terms

Our total liability, if any, will not exceed the total amount paid by you to use Bookyno in the past 12 months.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if:

  • You violate these Terms

  • You misuse the App

  • Required by law

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device and canceling any active subscriptions in your store account.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally.

All changes will always be published and kept available on our official website: bookyno.com.

By continuing to use the App after updated Terms are posted on the website, you agree to the revised version.
